Excellent! Looking for an experienced mentor - now that is a new approach. I also like the "well-fed writer" concept: fresh, nonconformist, why-the-heck-not.

I wish that it work out!

I've been a freelance writer for 20 years. Since I am not willing to go the cold call route Bowerman recommends, work has been spotty most of the time. Be aware that their is still a bias against women in the business world of writing and women are often paid less. In today's market, everyone is struggling as companies reduce their marketing budgets. From what I read, at least half of Mr. Bowerman's income comes from his books and seminars, so that's something to take into consideration. I really would suggest looking at other fields if a steady, dependable income is your goal. Sure some writers make $85 an hour, some make $250, but most make below that because of the competition among writers willing to work for less because they need to keep working and keep clients. Remember, this is not writing where you get to write what you want--the absolute joyous thing about a blog--but rather what someone else tells you to write. Just telling you the other side of the coin. Peace.
