I am a "Segway" police officer in Newport News, Virginia and I am actually allowed to let citizens try out the Segway if they ask. I do it quite often.

That's so cool. Thanks for letting me know. So, if I ever visit Newport News, could I try your Segway? Or, can you have a chat with the San Diego police to conince them to lighten up? =)
